Mr. Bhavik Ranjit Samani is a versatile legal professional whose practice spans criminal litigation, constitutional matters, and corporate disputes. As the Founder of Ranjit Samani & Co., he leads a diverse litigation and advisory practice with an active client base across multiple jurisdictions including Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.
Mr. Samani is empanelled as a Panel Advocate with the High Court Legal Services Committee (LSC) and regularly appears before constitutional courts, tribunals, and regulatory forums. Known for his analytical approach and strong courtroom advocacy, he handles a wide spectrum of matters including criminal defence, civil rights litigation, and complex commercial disputes.
He has been associated with several significant matters including the landmark “DNA Integrity” case (State of Gujarat vs. Gopi @ Bhalabhai), where the defence successfully challenged the integrity of forensic DNA evidence, ultimately leading to the acquittal of individuals previously sentenced to death. He has also been involved in high-profile criminal litigation including the Naroda Gam case, where he served as a Panel Advocate on the defence side in proceedings arising from the 2002 Gujarat riots.
He was honored with the The Global Legal Excellence Awards in New Delhi in 2024.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Samani represents and advises several financial institutions and corporate clients including Angel One Pvt. Ltd., LKP Securities Ltd., Mahindra Finance, Aspire Home Finance, Mahindra Logistics Ltd., and 5Paisa.com.
Mr. Samani is currently serving as Associate Editor of the Gujarat Law Herald, published by the Gujarat Bar Council.
